Agnes Chavez is a new media artist, educator and Artistic Director of The PASEO Festival and is currently serving as Artistic Director at the CERN Data Center to design a permanent installation visualizing data from the Large Hadron Collider. She curates interdisciplinary collaborations and participatory experiences for festivals, museums and art/science organizations. She is the founder of the STEMarts LAB program a Research and Innovation platform for STEAM explorations applied to art and education. Partnerships include Los Alamos National Laboratory and ISEA2012: Machine Wilderness and ATLAS Outreach@CERN. She is the founder and developer of SUBE, a multisensory language curriculum for teaching Spanish and English to kids through art, music and games, now in its 20th year.
